Dr. Monique Lam

Monique was born and raised in the Bay Area. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences. She continued her training by completing an intensive 9-month program specializing in proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), working with a variety of neurological conditions including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, multi traumas, cerebrovascular accidents, as well vestibular and orthopedics conditions.

Not only does Monique use specific manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises in her treatment, she also believes in a whole-body approach – integrating both the physical, spiritual, and psychological influences in a rehab process.

Monique understands what it’s like to be the patient as she had suffered a stress fracture in her spine while playing sports and needed physical therapy. She’s ready to hear your story and work together to come up with the most optimal treatment plan to best fit your needs.

In her free time, Monique likes to travel, hike, boulder, and workout to eat all the delicious foods!
