Dr. Joshua Flores, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist · Run & Performance Specialist
Dr. Joshua Flores works with runners of every level, from first-timers to advanced competitors, along with athletes and active members of the general population. People come to him to improve their overall movement quality, build strength capacity, and treat injuries so they can return to their prior level of function and then push beyond it.
His approach is fully individualized, built around three jobs he takes on with every client: rehabilitate, educate, and improve performance. That middle piece is central to how he works. He wants clients to leave knowing how to self-assess and re-assess, and to understand human movement well enough to keep improving on their own.
The teaching is backed by a sharp diagnostic eye. Flores's strength is using movement analyses and capacity screens to pinpoint the deficits and asymmetries that quietly limit performance, then turning those findings into precise, purposeful exercise programming. In hands-on work he draws on myofascial decompression, manual therapy, and functional movement screening. He commonly treats ACL injuries, patellar tendinitis, Achilles tendinopathy, hip and knee osteoarthritis, and shoulder instability and dysfunction and helps athletes return to sport, optimize running economy, and build plyometric ability. As a long-distance runner himself, he has a particular feel for what it takes to keep an endurance athlete healthy and efficient.
Outside the clinic, you'll find him logging long runs, on the basketball court, or playing pickleball.
"I help people learn about their bodies to optimize their daily and functional activities."
