SMALL GROUP CLASSES

Typical group classes teach movement patterns. We teach you to recognize why your body moves the way it does, so you can actually correct it, not just repeat it.

Most people don't need more flexibility. They need the right part to move.

Twist your body and something has to give. If your hips and upper back are stiff, your low back gives instead. You still get where you were going. It just came from the wrong place. Then you're sore two days later and you call it tight.

Here's what most classes tell you: activate your glutes. Engage your core.

Like you can just talk to a muscle and it answers.

We do it the other way. Put your body in a specific position and let the muscle talk back to you.

Where your feet are. Where your hips sit. Where your weight is. Change those and the right part starts working on its own. You don't have to think about it. You just have to feel it.

Want to twist? You should feel it in your hips and upper back. Want to hinge? You should feel it in your glutes, not your low back.

Feel it somewhere else and now you know where to work.

We start every class with a few quick self checks. They're simple. You go through a position and pay attention to what you feel.

Maybe something hurts. Maybe it just feels tight or stuck. Maybe one side moves fine and the other doesn't.

Any of those is useful. Most of us have never stopped to ask the question, so we assume whatever we feel is normal. It usually isn't.

Either way, you walk out knowing more about your body than you walked in with.

Same approach our coaches use one on one. Now in a group.
