Dr. Josh Moreali
PT, DPT, TPI, SFMA, FMS, FRC

Co-Founder & Physical Therapist · Systems-Based Performance Specialist

Dr. Josh specializes in helping active adults and athletes overcome persistent pain and movement limitations so they can return to training, sport, and life without restriction. What drives him is straightforward: he finds real fulfillment in empowering people to transform their lives through better movement, and watching a client finally hit a goal they'd been chasing is a genuine source of joy for him.

His path into the field started early, in eighth grade, when he first picked up weight training. That initial spark pulled him into strength and conditioning and, eventually, deep into the scientific literature on optimizing human performance, the foundation he still builds on as a clinician today.

At Progressive Motion, Josh takes a systems-based, performance-driven 3Rs approach, guiding clients through a structured process of restoring movement, improving control, and building long-term resilience. He doesn't view the body as a collection of separate parts; he sees an integrated, dynamic system, and that holistic lens is what lets him trace pain or performance limitations back to their actual root cause rather than the spot that happens to hurt.

Drawing on Movement Links, DNS, PRI, and FRC, alongside extensive manual therapy training, including a year-long program in the Maitland approach, Josh focuses on more than quieting symptoms. His work is about improving how the body genuinely performs under load, using strength training and movement re-education to make the change hold. He's especially known for helping clients understand their body at a deeper level, connecting what they feel to how they move, so they can take ownership of their progress. Whether you're working through chronic pain or pushing toward higher performance, his goal is the same: results that actually last.

Outside the clinic, Josh is happiest spending time with his wife and three children, out on the mountain bike trails, or training. His adventurous streak runs deep - he's also a former motorcycle racer.

"I help people move better so they can live and perform at a higher level."
